However I'd like to find a mod/option that would allow frequent and complete dismemberment of opponents, but only on their death - without making the saber even more overpowered than it already is. Now I know this is how sabers supposed to work, hence "realistic", but this also breaks the game's balance even further, turning what's supposed to be climactic encounters into 3-second done-and-forgotten bouts.Īnd due to popularity of "g_saberMoreRealistic" option there does not seem to be any alternatives made. The problem I have with this approach is that realistic saber option makes the saber combat way too easy, and the NPCs, even those who are supposed to be masters of saber combat, go down with a single well placed (or just lucky) swing of a saber. Absolute 100% of the time requests for proper dismemberment in Jedi Academy/Jedi Outcast results in something along the lines of "just enable g_saberMoreRealistic lmao".
